I'm Beth's sister and knew you when you were a baby! I used to go with your Mom when she was interviewing for jobs and watch you. People would come up to us, thinking I was your Mom, and fall all over themselves about how cute and outgoing you were! You're art is fantastic, it is so varied but each one speaks to the heart. I couldn't be prouder of you if you were my own.

Sarah, I knew you before you were born--a friend of your mom. We used to have some wild times together--your mom and I. Don't tell her I told you that. Your work goes straight to the heart. Keep following your dream and doing what you love and you will be fulfilled. If you have an exhibit around Durham or Chapel Hill, let me know.

sarah, we are all proud of you. your pictures are really something. i always wanted to just sit down and draw like that,but never could (however, ask your dad about my "ancient Vance County cave art" piece at my work desk) haha. All of us here at home know we couldnt have had a better bunch of kids if we'd ordered them from a catalog. i always am glad when all of you are home. i guess one sure way to do that is have a barndance every once in a while! becarefull, hope to see you soon. rt
